Yes, welcome home. Welcome to Nova: a house booming with life and full of subtle details that make this residence a haven for that time you want to share with your loved ones: truly the best villa in Comporta for a family vacation -especially if you are travelling with little children.

Comporta is Portugal’s most exclusive coastal area, in the Troia peninsula, just an hour south of Lisbon. A 13-mile long sandy spit that has a distinctly peaceful feel, enhanced by its gentle weather, lack of crowds, extensive protected nature areas, world class dining, and creative and luxurious architecture. Just a thirty-minute drive from the sandy coastline of Comporta, close to the village of Grândola, we found (and fell in love with) Pure Villa Nova, a two-storey design home celebrating seclusion and spectacular views from its quiet and private location.

From the outside, the villa appears to be a white pearl enclosed in a stunning and harmonious landscape of pine trees and blue skies. The sprawling grounds contain a multitude of wooden terraces and risk-free chill out areas, ideal for parents seeking to unwind in a private setting with top amenities while their children are free to play and explore in a secure and natural environment. Nova comes with a private heated swimming pool, sunny terrace with outdoor dining table for 12 (+ sofas), children’s playground, grass football field and grass volleyball field, landscaped pine tree gardens with breathtaking views, and a collection of bicycles for the whole family to explore the riches of Comporta.

Pure Villa Nova is a celebration of light and space thanks to its breezy open living areas (the ceilings are just colossal), ever-present white walls, carefully-curated selection of white modern furniture, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows. All in all, the ambiance of the villa is comparable to that of a monastery –a very stylish and luxurious monastery, to be fair-.

Space for relaxation and tranquility aplenty: Nova can host up to 18 guests. The main house is composed of five bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, of which one of the bedrooms, the ‘children’s room’, can accommodate six children in bunk beds.

The family’s most frequent gathering spot requires a little extra heat, so that is why on the first floor of the villa you will find a living room and dining room separated by a two-sided wood burning fireplace that shines as the heart of a large and open relaxing area of 80 square meters. The kitchen is American style and opens onto the dining room, and there is a TV room on a mezzanine that comes fully equipped with even an electric drum and guitar set.

What could make this house even more special?

About 300 meters away from the main house there is a wooden cabin that can welcome up to six people. This cabin has two bedrooms, one bathroom and an open kitchen next to the living/dining room. One of the bedrooms has two beds, each with a ‘pull-out’ bed below, enabling this room to accommodate four guests (The wooden cabin can be rented separately or in combination with the main house).

There is plenty more to it, but the bottom line is: Pure Villa Nova is extremely well-suited for families! Top-privacy and style guaranteed in one of the most beautiful nature areas of Comporta. The ideal vacation home for families or big-group getaways.
